How to Use Ras El Hanout
Ras El Hanout is traditionally used in Moroccan tagines, a clay cooking pot with a conical top. Layers of onions, vegetables, fruits, and meats are paired with olive oil and Ras El Hanout and cooked for hours.
What is Ras El Hanout?
Our Ras El Hanout is a blend of no less than nineteen herbs and spices. We blend paprika, brown mustard, black pepper, cumin, grains of paradise, turmeric, coriander, long pepper, nigella, caraway, anise, cardamom, mace, ginger, Korintje cinnamon, lavender, cubeb pepper, ajwain (also known as carom seed), and rose petals.
