How to Use Poultry Seasoning
Mix one tablespoon of poultry seasoning with one-quarter cup of vegetable oil (or clarified butter, but not regular butter which contains too much water and will lead to soggy skin) and a healthy amount of salt (unless you already used a dry or wet brine). Coat the bird thoroughly, so the mixture sticks to the skin evenly, and then roast.
