Put that giant cupcake baking dish to use for yet another great Giant Cupcake decorating tutorial – I’m determined to get more uses out of these baking pans than just cupcakes so make sure you’re subscribed to see what other great ideas I have in store for your giant cupcake moulds!
Moderate oven = 175 degrees celcius or 350 degrees faranheit
Each colour needs approx 20-25 minutes cooking time – ovens will vary slightly in heat so check after 15 minutes and every 5 minutes after that.
Tools & Equipment:
Giant cupcake mould (silicone preferred, but you can also use metal, or a 6″ cake tin)
Offset spatula or butter knife
Serrated edge knife (bread knife preferred)
Piping bag
Loyal #20 piping tip (any piping tip will do)
Rubber spatula / scraper
6 teaspoons
2 large spoons
6 different bowls
Ingredients:
6 food colours – liquid or paste (I used red, orange, yellow, green, blue and pink)
Double batch of your favourite white/vanilla cake mix (I used packet mix – 2 x greens brand vanilla cake)
Buttercream frosting (you will need close to a whole batch – link below)
Ginat cupcake case made from chocolate (I did mine blue – link to tutorial below)
